Mr. Essa Dampha, an outspoken member of the National People’s Party has refuted an earlier allegation By Musa Yalli Bachilly who accused NPP of vote buying while endorsing Talib Bensouda. The accusation was made in an earlier publication on The Fatu Network.
In reaction to the accusation, my Dampha said the statement is misleading, and baseless, out of fear stressing that the mr Bachilly is banking on mere fabrication.
” Must Bachilly’s statement was false, misleading, and baseless which was concocted out of fear and irrigation. The popularity of NPP candidate Hon. Bakary as the people’s choice is crystal clear to everyone who is residing in the country. Its empirically manifested and showed beyond any reasonable doubt the saleability of the hon. Bakary Badjie over his endorsed candidate. He has no hope for his candidate to be declared winner come the 20th of May that’s why he is banking on the smear and fabrication of the mighty NPP and its candidate. NPP is the ruling party it has no intention for any dubious behaviors on the political landscape of this country.”
Mr.Dampha further clarified that the NPP party stands in engaging people in constructive political discussions on matters that will take the country forward. He, therefore urges Bachilly to desist from such utterances and meet us at the grassroots to sell his unsaleable candidate.
Meanwhiles, Mr. Dampha hinted on this medium the Brikama Area Council campaign is progressing steadily and victory for Seedy Ceesay is Certain.
