Before his swearing-in, the Chairman of the Brikama Area Council,
Lawyer Yankuba Darboe, on. Tuesday visited a “thriving commercial farm in Farato. “
According to the office of the chairman of BAC, the Nyambai Ward councillor honourable Modou Jawo Jallow accompanied the chairman to the site.
“The visit allows the incoming chairman to learn first-hand about the business that supports many women in the area and promotes food security. Supporting commercial/urban farming and gardening for the people of the region is a top development priority for Yankuba.”
Some Residents of the West Coast Region told this medium that the move is in fulfillment of his promises to capitalize on every opportunity which would enhance the livelihood of his people.
Meanwhile, he posted on this platform which reads:
