The Gambia Office of the OIC calls for drivers plying the road construction areas to drive with extra care and strictly adhere to traffic rules.
“As work progresses on the Bertil Harding Highway, The Gambia OIC Secretariat, and Stakeholders seek the support of the public in adhering to responsible usage of the road.
Notably, the Highway is in construction with some parts of it open for use due to the rainy season.”
The OIC said drivers are strongly advised to exercise caution and respect traffic regulations. Pedestrians and vendors are urged to maintain a safe distance from the road.
“The cooperation of the public is highly solicited as we continue to implement this National Development Project.”
