IGP Sanyang made the statement at the Police Intervention Unitโs Headquarters, Kanifing while expressing deep sorrow over the tragic incident and the loss suffered by The Gambia Police Force.
He emphasized that the police force will spare no effort in providing officers with the necessary resources to carry out their duties effectively.
Furthermore, he made it clear that the internal security, peace, and stability of The Gambia will never be compromised.
