The government of Turkiye through its embassy in Banjul this morning, donated an assortment of communication gadgets to The Gambia Armed Forces in a presentation ceremony held at the Defense Headquarters in Banjul.
According to GAF, the donation is among several other donations to the GAF by the Government of Turkiye as part of the bilateral and military cooperation between Ankara and Banjul.
The occasion was graced by the Hon Minister of Defense Serign Modou Njie, Ambassador of Turkiye to the Republic of The Gambia HE Tolga Bermek, Chief of Defense Staff GAF Major General Mamat OA Cham, the Deputy Chief of Defense Staff Brig Gen Ousman Gomez, Service Chiefs, Principal Staff Officers, Officers, Soldiers and Ratings from both Defense and Joint Service Headquarters.
