Demonstration against the postponement of the Presidential election: 151 people arrested

151 people were arrested by the police between Sunday and Monday following demonstrations against the postponement of the Presidential election. Clashes broke out on Sunday afternoon in Dakar, where Senegalese gendarmes used tear gas to disperse hundreds of people who had come to demonstrate against the indefinite postponement of the presidential election scheduled for the end of the month. Opponents and presidential candidates were arrested while participating in the demonstration.
