President Macky SALL received his successor, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye

President Macky SALL received this Thursday his successor, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, elected during the first round of the presidential election of March 24, 2024.

A meeting marked by courtesy during which the two men discussed in depth the major issues of the State, as well as the oath-taking and handover ceremony.

This audience was followed by a visit to the presidential palace, where discussions continued in a solemn setting, marking the start of a significant political transition.
