The Anti-Crime Unit arrested twenty-one (21) Nigerians for alleged illegal possession of communication items on Saturday, April 14, 2024.

The police operation was based on intelligence gathered about suspicious activities involving a group of individuals residing in an apartment in Sanchaba Sulay Jobe.

Their arrest was followed by a detailed search of the residence, resulting in the recovery of various communication gadgets, including AFRICELL and QCELL GSM SIM cards, smartphones, iPhones, laptops, Rolex watches, routers, and a diamond tester.

Investigators are currently probing the matter to determine the veracity of the allegations and relevant charges.

The Office of the Inspector General of Police urges the public to continue supporting the police in crime prevention and detection efforts.
