The Public Enterprises Committee (PEC) with support from the World Bank through The Gambia Fiscal Management Development Project (GFMDP) on Monday commenced a weeklong capacity building training on effective Financial Oversight of Public Offices and State Owned Enterprises.
The training conducted by CREST Consulting is aimed at widening the scope of NAMs in dealing with Public Financial Management of The State of Enterprises (SOEs).
The Chairperson of the Committee Honorable Lamin J Sanneh said the the training is a part of efforts to enhance the capability of the Committee for effective oversights and scrutiny of the activities of State Owned Enterprises.
