Under the dynamic leadership of the vibrant Tabax-Reewmi Movement, we proudly present Ahmadou MH Kah, a native of Medina Serign Mass in the Lower Nuimi District of the North Bank Region, as our candidate for the presidency of The Gambia in the upcoming December 2026 election. As a married father and seasoned professional trainer with over 15 years of experience, he is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Management with a specialization in finance.
Our goal in seeking the presidency is to lead The Gambia towards a future characterized by principled governance, genuine democracy, and effective administration, all grounded in the principles of justice, equity, and the rule of law. Since gaining independence, The Gambia has grappled with increasing poverty, pervasive corruption in public institutions, and a government that prioritizes favouritism and self-interest over adherence to legal standards, as seen in numerous Government of The Gambia (GoTG) audit reports.
The state of security in our nation has deteriorated, with short-sighted policies and political manoeuvring undermining the integrity of our law enforcement system. The citizens of The Gambia live in fear due to the lack of safety and security, as unchecked street violence poses a significant threat. Additionally, the decline in ethical standards among our leaders has tarnished the reputation of government officials, resulting in diplomats who bring disgrace to our country on the international stage.
Moreover, our agricultural sector, which stands as a cornerstone of our economy, languishes from a lack of innovative ideas, mismanagement, and insufficient support. This neglect has led to food insecurity and economic instability.
The healthcare system cries out for reform, with inadequate facilities and resources that fall far short of meeting the basic needs of our citizens.
With the blessings of Allah, our mission is to restore integrity and transparency within our civil service, combat corruption, and ensure that diligence, dedication, and hard work propel us towards genuine progress. We envision a vibrant democracy where presidents are bound by a two-term limit, whether consecutive or not.
Our journey is guided by the steadfast principles of accountability, integrity, and transparency, firmly believing that these values will pave the way for economic development and social justice.
