The Gambia Football Federation has announced that the Gambia National U-20 Coach, Abdoulie Bojang, is currently in the UK to obtain a UEFA “B” coaching License. The course, taking place in Bolton, is organized by the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) and initiated by Sports Consult Agency UK. The program, which includes 21 technicians, will feature both theoretical and practical sessions from June 11th to 20th, 2024. After completing the first phase, Bojang will return to The Gambia and resume the second and final part of the course in September, concluding in November 2024. Speaking to GFF Media from the UK, Bojang expressed gratitude to the Gambia Football Federation and Mr. Kemo Ceesay for facilitating the program and covering his airfare expenses. He believes that this opportunity will enhance his coaching career and develop him into a better technician. Bojang also extended his thanks to the GFF for implementing the CARMS project, aimed at standardizing the essential components of football.
