The Kingdom of Speaker has successfully organized a day career guidance event for grade nine students at the Saint Augustine Senior Secondary School grounds on Saturday.
The theme of the event was “𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗨𝗽 𝗔 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴𝘀 ” meant to help students choose the right fields and prepare for their senior secondary school journey.
According to vibrant youth activist Sol Slim Njie, dozens of enthusiastic students registered for the career guidance event.
“This is just the beginning! Our commitment to guiding Gambian young people towards promising futures continues. Next up, Grade 12!
Powerful young voices, including T Styles, a leading artist and Studio Operator in Banjul, and Young Singer, delivered impactful messages against Kush Drugs through their performances.”
Mr Njie extended Heartfelt thanks to the diligent parents who sent their children as well the those who attended the event.
“Special appreciation to committed individuals like Amadou Wurry Jallow (Mr. President), Fatima Betts (Co Career Guidance Counselor), and Mr. Jawo Bah for their remarkable efforts. We also acknowledge Dj Yahsi and the Awoo Family for their affordable services, and Saint Augustine’s Senior Secondary School for generously providing the hall.
We deeply appreciate the presence of the President of Youth Councillor Abdoulie Krubally, Isatou Jallow, Councillor Bintaou Kabba M.S Jaiteh, Honorable Lamin Biram Bah Banjul North National Assembly Member, and Honourable Njai of Banjul Central Constituency despite their busy schedules.”Sol Slim Njie added.
