Hon. Modou Lamin B. Bah, National Assembly Member for Banjul North, has been elected as the West Africa Bloc Representative on the Executive Committee of the Network for African Parliamentary Committees of Health (NEAPACOH).
The decision was taken during NEAPACOHโs 16th Annual General Meeting held in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, from 5 to 7 March 2025. The meeting was attended by delegates from 26 African countries, comprising Members of Parliament from health and budgetary committees, support staff, and representatives from civil society organisations.
As head of The Gambiaโs delegation, Hon. Bah also presented the NEAPACOH 2025 report on behalf of the country, reaffirming The Gambiaโs commitment to strengthening the healthcare system through parliamentary engagement and collaboration with key stakeholders.
