
The National Assembly Special Select Committee established to inquire into the sale and disposal of the assets identified by the Commission of Inquiry into the financial activities of public bodies, enterprises and offices as regards their dealings with former President Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh and connected matters wishes to inform the general public that it is actively continuing its crucial work.
Since its inception, the Committee has been diligently pursuing its mandate to thoroughly examine the processes surrounding the liquidation and transfer of assets linked to the former President. We are pleased to report significant progress in our investigations.
The Committee has successfully issued summonses to the first batch of witnesses identified as relevant to our inquiry. We have subsequently received responses from these individuals or institutions and are currently in the process of meticulously reviewing and analysing all evidence and documentation submitted so far. This thorough review is essential to ensure a comprehensive and accurate understanding of the transactions in question.
In its commitment to transparency and a fair process, the Committee once again extends an invitation to all members of the public who may possess credible information, documents, or evidence pertinent to the sale and disposal of former President Jammeh’s assets that may be useful to its work. Your contributions are invaluable to the success of this investigation and to upholding accountability.

How to Submit Information: Information can be submitted confidentially to the Committee via email: specialselectcommittee@assembly.gm or through hard copy in sealed envelope to the Clerk of the National Assembly.
