
His Excellency Mohammed B.S. Jallow, Vice President of The Gambia, on Wednesday, 25 June , led a high-level government delegation to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for a two-day official working visit.
The visit is in connection with the 6th Session of the Major Joint Cooperation Commission between Mauritania and The Gambia, held from 26thโ27th June in Nouakchott. Upon arrival, Vice President Jallow was warmly received by his Mauritanian counterpart, Prime Minister H.E. Mr. El Moctar OULD DJAY.
Accompanied by Cabinet Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, and senior government officials, the mission is to strengthen the historic bonds of friendship and deepen bilateral cooperation in key areas such as trade, economy, energy, and cultural development.
This engagement marks another milestone in The Gambiaโs commitment to regional diplomacy and sustainable development through strategic initiatives.
