
His Excellency Mohammed BS Jallow, Vice President of the Republic of The Gambia, was proudly honoured as Chief Guest of Honour on Saturday, 28 June at the graduation ceremony of the Class of 2025 at Nusrat Senior Secondary School, where over 550 students celebrated the successful completion of their academic journey.
Held under the uplifting theme โThe Future Starts with Us,โ the event was a vibrant display of youthful ambition, academic excellence, and community pride. In his keynote address, VP Jallow commended the graduating class for their years of dedication, discipline, and resilience, describing the occasion as a true milestone marking the beginning of greater things to come.
โThis speech and prize-giving ceremony is more than a celebration โ itโs a call to action,โ he stated. โThe future is not a distant dream; it starts now, with the values you uphold, the decisions you make, and the goals you choose to pursue.โ
He encouraged the graduates to see themselves not just as learners, but as leaders and change-makers capable of shaping a brighter, more inclusive and sustainable Gambia โ and world. VP Jallow also highlighted the importance of education in national development and reiterated governmentโs continued commitment to empowering young people through learning and opportunity.
As the students received their certificates, awards, and heartfelt applause, the air was filled with joy, reflection, and a sense of purpose. VP Jallow congratulated the students, teachers, and parents for their collective effort in achieving this great success.
