At Sibanor and Mandinaba, the delegation interacted with security personnel stationed in these areas. The Director General shared his vision for the tour, emphasizing his administration’s commitment to reform, ensuring effective compliance with immigration regulations, and fostering security best practices. He urged officers to remain dedicated, uphold discipline, and adhere to due diligence in their duties.
In Giboro, the DG and his delegation inspected a newly constructed state-of-the-art building and engaged the community in a town hall meeting. During the session, stakeholders discussed critical security concerns affecting service delivery, strategies to curb irregular migration, and the importance of enhancing documentation processes.
The engagements in West Coast Region highlighted the power of community involvement and the effectiveness of strategic communication in raising awareness and promoting sustainable implementation of immigration responsibilities.
