
His Excellency Mohammed B. S. Jallow, Vice President of The Gambia, today received the 13th Executive Council of the Law Studentsโ Association (LSA) of the University of The Gambia at State House, Banjul.
Led by LSA President Ebrima Jarju, the students highlighted key academic and social needs โ including internship opportunities, scholarship packages, sponsorship for Law Week, and the revival of the UTG Law Clinic.
They also raised concerns over the facultyโs relocation to Faraba Bantang, requesting more buses and student accommodation to ease the transition.
VP Jallow welcomed the delegation, praised their proactive spirit, and assured them of governmentโs commitment to support their initiatives.
The meeting marked a renewed partnership between government and the next generation of legal minds, as the Vice President reaffirmed efforts to strengthen higher education and empower Gambian youth.
