The Waa Banjul Sports Festival Chairman Barrister Alpha Barry, together with key team members yesterday the of 22nd September, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Coordinator’s Office in Banjul.
The delegation, which included the Chairman, President of the Banjul Sports Committee Modou Musa Njie, Abdoulie Ceesay, Fatou Sarr, and Ebrima Nyass, was warmly received by the Executive Coordinator, Hon. Ebrima Jawo.
During the meeting, the organizers outlined the vision of the upcoming festival, emphasizing its potential to boost tourism, showcase local culture, and strengthen community unity through volleyball.
In response, Hon. Jawo expressed strong support for the initiative, pledging to assist with logistics and security arrangements. The organizers departed the meeting and encouraged, confident in the festival’s prospects for success.
