Isatou Sey, popularly known as Cheetah , delivered another outstanding performance as she powered to a 2nd-place finish in the women’s 200m semifinals with an impressive time of 23.48 seconds. Her brilliant run secures her a well-deserved place in the final, where all eyes will be on her as she continues her hunt for a medal.
Meanwhile, Jalika Bajinka also put up a commendable effort, finishing 4th in her semifinal heat with a solid time of 24.28 seconds (+1.2 m/s). Though she narrowly missed out on a spot in the final, her performance remains a strong representation of The Gambia’s growing sprint talent.
