QNET, a 27-year-old global lifestyle and wellness-focused direct selling company, has organised a successful Product Workshop for Journalists in The Gambia on Friday, 5th December 2025, at the Ocean Bay Hotel and Resort in Cape Point. According to QNET officials, the event was necessary to reveal the real QNET, offer journalists the opportunity to see, feel, and experience QNET products, understand its business model, differentiate between authentic QNET independent distributors and those deceiving the public, and know some of the astute professionals behind the global brand.
“This event is important because some individuals have been misusing the name and products of QNET and deceiving innocent people. We want it to stop. We want you to know that QNET is a real, legitimate global wellness and lifestyle direct selling company, and we are not a scam,” Cherif Abdoulaye, Regional General Manager for QNET sub-Saharan Africa, revealed.
“QNET is aware that some individuals deceive and defraud other people about visa and overseas employment opportunities using the name of QNET. This is totally wrong, and that is not what QNET does. We do not support any form of deception or fraud. We are using this opportunity to warn the general public against anyone who is making these false promises, report them to QNET or to the nearest police station,” Abdoulaye firmly announced.
During the QNET Product Workshop for Journalists, Bernie Gaksch, the Global Product Trainer for QNET showcased some QNET products and demonstrated how they work. QNET offers a diverse portfolio of exclusive, premium products in the wellness, lifestyle, home and living, personal care, Holidays, travel and education categories. They are all available online at www.qnet.net.
According to Gaksch, “QNET products meet stringent quality standards and various international certifications.” The company emphasises research and development, third-party testing, and unique formulations as hallmarks of its product quality and efficacy.
QNET says the event is one of the many ways it is tackling the misuse and misinterpretation of its brand name and products. The company is organising an Expo which is open to the general public on the 6th and 7th December, 2025 at the Coco Ocean Resort and Spa in Bijilo.
