As part of the ongoing improvement of infrastructure nationwide, His Excellency Adama Barrow on Saturday, laid the foundation stones for the epc lot 7 section 2 of the 41km roads project.
This includes: the 6km Farato Telecenter–Bafuloto road; the 9.1km Jambur–Brikama Jalambang road; the 10km Brikama–Kassa Kunda–Nyofelleh road and the 11.9km Kachumeh–Gunjur–Kunkujang-Sanyang road.
In his remarks, President Barrow highlighted that the project reflects his government’s drive to meet people’s aspirations. He emphasized that better roads will ensure faster, safer travel, boost business growth, and strengthen national development.
Community leaders, including the Chief Lamin Mondo Jatta of Brikama North and the Alkalo of Kassa Kunda Musa Sabally, described the development as a life changing initiative. They commended the President and his government for bringing progress that will ease access to schools, markets, and other essential services.
President Barrow further reaffirmed his government’s commitment to ensuring that every community benefits from these development projects for a lasting progress, peace, and harmony.
