On 4th January 2026, at the GTUCCU Hall in Brikama, Hon. Bakary K Badjie officially launched the United Gambian Front (UGF), a new political party founded on purpose and the need for a swift progressive change.

Anchored in Afro-Democratic Progressivism, the party brings together patriots who believe in youth leadership, social justice, national unity, and purpose-driven governance.
This launch marks the beginning of a collective national effort to rescue the nation, confront stagnation, restore dignity, and build a progressive future for all Gambians.
