Dr Seedy Drammeh author and writer who recently launched his 37th book was on Saturday awarded the Educational Excellence Award at a colorful ceremony held in his home village of Sikunda, Jarra West District, Lower River Region.
The award was in recognition of Dr Drammeh’s contribution to education and mentorship. Through his book and guidance, he has impacted the lives of many and elevated the pride of the village.
The award ceremony was organized by BAADINBUNG KAFFOO a youth led organisation geared towards the unity of the village under the mantra ” One Sikunda, one village, one people.h
It could be recalled that, last year, Dr Drammeh was recognized and awarded by the Gambia’s Writer’s Association for his outstanding contribution by authoring several books. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration and currently works at the Gambia Revenue Authority as Deputy head of Human Resources.
