The President’s Office, with the help of its Media and Communications Unit, has organized the 3rd National Dialogue with the central theme of “Utilizing The Gambia’s Human Capital and Infrastructural Resources for an All-Inclusive Path to Prosperity.” This important gathering brings together key figures such as government officials, policymakers, development partners, civil society members, business leaders, youth representatives, and community stakeholders to jointly shape the country’s development agenda. Taking place during a critical phase of the nation’s progress, the Dialogue serves as a working platform for reflection, evaluation, and future planning. Participants exchange ideas, assess progress, and propose practical strategies for achieving inclusive growth. The main focus of discussions is to maximize The Gambia’s human capital, especially its young population, while ensuring that investments in infrastructure lead to tangible improvements in people’s lives. Furthermore, stakeholders are also exploring ways to enhance productivity, expand economic opportunities, and promote resilience within communities. Past National Dialogues have emphasized the importance of sustained investments in education, healthcare, skills training, and social welfare as fundamental elements for accelerating economic development and reducing poverty. This year’s Dialogue aims to build upon that momentum by examining how the development of infrastructure, such as roads, energy, digital connectivity, and public facilities, can be better aligned with human development strategies to drive inclusive and sustainable transformation.
