The National Assembly Business Committee, currently on a study tour in Malawi, today held a series of engagements with officials of the Malawi Parliament aimed at deepening understanding of parliamentary procedures, management of House business, and committee operations.
During the visit, the delegation met with the Deputy Clerk responsible for procedural matters, who briefed members on the role of procedure officers in supporting House business and the work of parliamentary committees. The discussions focused on best practices in managing legislative processes, scheduling business, and ensuring effective committee support.
