The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) has announced the promotion of Mr Ebrima Nyassi, widely known as Alagie, to the position of Deputy Technical Director.
Mr Nyassi’s elevation reflects his unwavering dedication and exceptional service to Gambian football over the past decade. Since 2021, he has served as Youth Football Manager, a role he carried out with distinction. His journey with the Federation began in 2014 as Grassroots Football Coordinator, where he helped establish youth development programs that continue to thrive nationwide.
Bringing both academic and technical expertise to his new role, Mr Nyassi holds an Advanced Diploma in Management and Policy Analysis from the Management Development Institute (MDI). He is also a CAF B License holder and a certified CAF coach educator, positioning him as a key figure in advancing the technical standards of the game in The Gambia.
The GFF congratulates Mr Nyassi on his well‑deserved promotion and wishes him continued success as he takes on this new challenge to further elevate Gambian football.
