Drug trafficking in Malika: 8 Sierra Leoneans and a Senegalese arrested by police in an apartment
The district commissioner of Malika has this Friday dismissed nine individuals to the prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor, for detention, consumption and trafficking of narcotics. The group consists of one Senegalese and eight Sierra Leoneans. Kush, ecstasy pills and psychotropic tablets were seized during the operation, according to Seneweb sources.
Every piece of information. Informed about the existence of an extensive network of narcotics trafficking, Malika’s borough police station organized a raid at an apartment in the neighborhood. Nine individuals were arrested at the scene.
The concealment of an infant’s diaper
At the time of interpellation, R. Camara, 26, housewife, attempts to conceal psychotropic tablets as well as three small envelopes of Kush in the diaper of a two-month-old baby, presented as an absent-minded friend. The subterfuge is immediately thwarted by the police.
A thorough search of the apartment reveals an arsenal of drugs concealed in different corners: one hundred and eight presumed ecstasy pills, fifteen unidentified tablets sold in detail, and six small envelopes of Kush discovered on C. Camara, 35 years old, mason, at the moment of his palpation.
Conditioning equipment, a pair of scissors and plastic bags are also found in the same room, indicating organized resale activity.
A request was sent to the Division of Technical and Scientific Police to determine the exact nature of the seized tablets.
All are in Malika unless otherwise stated, the accused are: A. Momo, 38 years old, plumber ; M. Massal, 35 years old, fisherman ; J. M. Massaray, 29 years old, fisherman ; H. Marocco, 21 years old, calling himself a footballer, domiciled at Parcelles Assainies; A. Salamdine, 25 years old, fisherman ; C. Camara, 35, Mason ; R. Camara, 26 years old, housewife ; I. Cissokho, 20 years old, vehicle washer, the only Senegalese national in the group; I. Kabou, 39 years old, merchant.
At the end of the procedure, the nine accused were presented this Friday in front of the prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye Prosecutor’s Office, for detention, consumption and trafficking of narcotics.
