The Government calls on all parties to exercise maximum restraint, pursue de-escalation, and resolve differences through dialogue and diplomacy in accordance with international law. The protection of civilian lives and critical infrastructure remains imperative. Continued instability carries serious implications for regional and global peace, security, and economic stability.

In view of the evolving situation, Gambian nationals residing in or travelling to affected areas are advised to:
βͺοΈExercise heightened caution and remain vigilant;
βͺοΈAvoid areas of military activity, public demonstrations, and large gatherings;
βͺοΈMonitor official advisories issued by host authorities;
βͺοΈEnsure travel and identification documents are valid and readily accessible;
βͺοΈDefer non-essential travel to areas experiencing heightened tensions.
Gambian nationals are encouraged to maintain contact with the nearest Gambian diplomatic mission, or where none exists, seek assistance through friendly diplomatic representations.
