Police at Sanyang Hybrid Police Station are investigating a suspected case of baby dumping reported in Mamuda Village in the early hours of April 4, 2026.
Preliminary reports indicate that residents discovered a newborn baby boy abandoned near a toilet facility and promptly reported the matter to the police.
Officers responded and escorted the infant to Sanyang Health Centre, where he was admitted and is currently receiving medical care.
Statements have been obtained from witnesses, and the matter has been referred for further investigation.
