Gathering followers from all over The Gambia and beyond,.Amir Baba F Trawally reminded the gathering about the importance of peace, respect, and tolerance in our society.
Under the theme “The Holy Qur’an: Solution for the Challenges of the Modern World”, Amir Baba F Trawally, highlighted the significance of the Qur’an in addressing the issues faced by humanity in today’s world. In the face of moral confusion, social unrest, political division, economic uncertainty, and spiritual emptiness, the Holy Qur’an provides us with the ultimate guidance.
As stated in the Holy Qur’an, “This is a perfect Book; there is no doubt in it; it is a guidance for the righteous.” (Surah Al-Baqarah, Chapter 2:3), the Qur’an is not just a recitation, but a complete code of life. According to Amir, it offers solutions for individual reform, family stability, social harmony, economic justice, and global peace. By following its teachings, we can find solutions to the challenges that plague our modern societies.
Allah the Almighty further emphasizes in the Qur’an that it is a book that explains everything and offers guidance, mercy, and glad tidings to those who submit. (Surah An-Nahl, Chapter 16:90) This verse highlights the comprehensive nature of the Qur’an, addressing all aspects of life such as justice, governance, human rights, and peaceful coexistence.
