The Gambia Immigration Department (GID) has received fifty (50) high-quality flashlights with accessories from the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board to boost the operational capacity of its Border Patrol Unit.
The donation was officially handed over on Tuesday, 26th May 2026, by Estonian Honorary Consul in The Gambia, Mr. Charbel Hobeika, alongside officials from the Estonian police.
Director General Ebrima Mboob expressed appreciation for the support, noting that the cooperation with Estoniaโs Politsei- ja Piirivalveamet strengthens GIDโs mission and opens opportunities for expanded partnership in border security.
