Students of Hair Dressi SKILL ng and Beauty Therapy, and Tailoring at The Preisdent’ s Award Scheme Skills Training Center Annex in Kerewan completed their final examination yesterday, displayed skills and talents trained in Nail fixing, Eye lashes, Make up, Pedicure, Facial, Traditional wedding, Cultural dance, Tailoring and Fashion Design
Representing the Executive Director of PIA, Mr Wandifa Cham Administration and Human Resource Manager and Mr Lamin Ceesay the center manager, expressed the important of skills and the needs for Youth participation in job skills nowadays and also emphasized the PIA unflinching support to Kerewan annex under the leadership of Hon Pa Malick Ceesay the Executive Director PIA through the Ministry of youth and sports.
The center manager further highlights the next plan which the Gambian Children First Foundation have for the Kerewan Center for their next pledge to sponsor about twenty young people to acquire skills in hair dressings and Tailoring..
