Macky Sall has announced that he will step down on April 2nd.
In an interview with the local media on Thursday evening, Macky Sall said he would respect the constitution and step down from power on April 2nd.
As of now, no date has been set to go to the polls. A national dialogue is expected to find a new date from Monday next week.
Meanwhile, Macky Sall has announced that Ousmane Sonko and Bassirou Diomaye Faye would be released through an amnesty bill to appease the political atmosphere.
