The Police officers from the Old Yundum Station arrested two men aged between 25 and 30 years old at Tawto Village, for their involvement in alleged theft, on Monday, March 25, 2024.
During a raid on a compound, the police recovered 13 sheep. Subsequent investigation revealed that two of the sheep were reported stolen by their rightful owner.
The alleged suspects claimed that the sheep in their possession were purchased for business purposes but were unable to provide convincing details to that effect.
While The GPF remains dedicated to saving lives and property, the public is urged to cooperate with the ongoing investigation by providing relevant information that may aid in the identification of the stolen sheep.
