Earlier today we launched a six (6) month mentorship program for Gambia Female Journalists. The mentorship program attracted twenty (20) Journalist from various media outlets across the country to prepare them for leadership positions in news rooms.
The mentees will be coached by experienced journalists who are predominantly women to produce fantastic journalistic contents for their various media outlets.
This mentorship is made possible with funding from USAID through its Promoting Rights and Justice in The Gambia. We thank mentors for agreeing to provide moral and career guidance to the younger journalists at a zero cost.
