
Officers from Kairaba Police Station have arrested individuals across Kololi and surrounding areas as part of a crackdown on crime.
The suspects were apprehended from various identified criminal hideouts in the Kanifing Municipality.
Following initial screening by the Criminal Intelligence Unit, they were handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigations.
The group included seven males and thirteen females of Gambian, Senegalese, and Nigerian nationality.
Two individuals were found selling liquor and operating bars without the required licenses.
Eighteen suspects have been cautioned and charged under the Rogues and Vagabonds Act, while the two involved in illicit liquor sales have been charged with Sale of Liquor Without a License.
