- According to the Brikama Area Council, their Director of Planning and Development Aja Adama Bojang is participating in the International Mayors Forum in Dakar on the invitation of the United Nations Office for Sustainable Development Goals (UNOSD) to attend the 2022-2023 International Mayors Forum from 25th-28th April 2023.

The objective of the 2022-2023 International Mayors Forum is to provide a platform for policy dialogue and knowledge sharing through presentations and discussions on key aspects related to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and other International frameworks and agreements such as the Paris Agreement at the local level.
As part of the forum, Mrs. Bojang will deliver a presentation on the Experience of The Gambia in developing a Voluntary Local Review Process and a presentation on Sustainable Development Goal Six ( Clean Water and Sanitation) on 25th April 2023.
