Police despatch indicates that the Inspector General of The Gambia Police Force, Abdoulie Sanyang, has led a group of senior police officers on a conducted tour of police stations within the Greater Banjul Area (GBA) on Tuesday 9th May 2023.
“The purpose of the visit is to be able to inspect ongoing constructions and identify potential land areas for constructing modern police stations that will meet the democratic policing needs of The Gambia. “
The despatch further stated that IGP Sanyang led his technical and administrative teams around the four major police stations in Bakau, Kanifing South, Kairaba Police Station, and the Kanifing Police Intervention Unit.
