According to a media update, the honorable Mahamadou Ceesay of the Basse Area Council inspected the damaged Samba Lolo Bridge in the Upper River Region this morning.
Accompanied by his management team, honorable Ceesay visited the rehabilitation of the Samba Lolo Bridge where work has already commenced.
“This bridge was constructed in 2021 but was badly damaged by erosion during the last year’s rainy season.
As the Honorable Chairman promised the people of Upper River Region a proactive and responsive leadership, he was able to seal an agreement with the initial contractor of the project called (Long Jian for roads & bridges)”
