The high-level Mission from the OIC Secretariat led by the Assistant Secretary General of Political Affairs, H.E. Ambassador Yousef Al Dobeay, and T, the Ambassador of The Republic of The Gambia to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and The Gambia’s Permanent Representative to the OIC H.E Gibril Omar Sallah, were received at The OIC Gambia Secretariat.
Upon the Mission’s arrival in Banjul, the team paid a Courtesy Call to the President of The Republic of The Gambia, H.E Adama Barrow and t, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The purpose of The Organisation and Technical Assessment (OTA) Mission is to meet with relevant stakeholders and assess The Gambia’s preparatory works leading to the hosting of the 15th OIC Islamic Summit to be held in Banjul.
The Mission had joined the Local Organizing Committee of The Gambia OIC Secretariat where matters relating to the preparations were discussed.
