President Barrow thanked France for the strong bilateral and multilateral cooperation, supporting various sectors such as Agriculture and education, when he received the outgoing French Ambassador, H.E Philippe Lalliot, at the State House in Banjul.
The French Ambassador was at the Presidency to bid farewell to the President after completing his four-year tour of duty in The Gambia. He said he holds fond memories of The Gambia witnessing the growth of the country’s democracy under the leadership of President Barrow.
The two discussed the cordial relationship between Banjul and Paris in strengthening democracy and enhancing development.
