A gracious farewell marked the meeting between The Honourable Speaker of the National Assembly, Fabakary Tombong Jatta and the British High Commissioner to the Republic of The Gambia, Mr David Belgrove on Thursday.
During the meeting, the Honourable Speaker thanked the High Commissioner for his good working relationship with the National Assembly during his tenure. He affirmed commitment to uphold the ideals of democracy and good governance, ensuring the collective interests of all are well-served.
The High Commissioner, for his part, expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to him and his staff by the National Assembly
