Today at the African Princess Beach Hotel, we commenced a two-day review and validation workshop for Resource Mobilisation Strategies for GALGA and Local Councils in The Gambia
Through a co-funding partnership, the workshop is supported by the ๐๐-๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐, while the development of the strategies is supported by the ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฐ๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฆ- ๐๐๐๐ .
The development of the resource mobilisation strategies is aimed at encouraging GALGA and the Local Councils to focus on own-resource mobilisation for sustainability
The review and validation workshop is an essential part of ensuring that the final documents speak to the realities on the ground for GALGA and Local Councils and enhance the shared ability to mobilise resources effectively.
