Today at the African Princess Beach Hotel, we commenced a two-day review and validation workshop for Resource Mobilisation Strategies for GALGA and Local Councils in The Gambia

Through a co-funding partnership, the workshop is supported by the 𝐄𝐔-𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐏 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, while the development of the strategies is supported by the 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦- 𝐂𝐋𝐆𝐅.

The development of the resource mobilisation strategies is aimed at encouraging GALGA and the Local Councils to focus on own-resource mobilisation for sustainability

The review and validation workshop is an essential part of ensuring that the final documents speak to the realities on the ground for GALGA and Local Councils and enhance the shared ability to mobilise resources effectively.
