
In a continuous bid to foster collaboration and strengthen stakeholder relations, the Director General of Immigration and his delegation visited the Regional Governor of Upper River Region, Honourable Samba Bah, as part of his ongoing familiarisation tour.
During a meeting attended by Regional Service Chiefs of URR, the Governor congratulated DG Mboob on his appointment and leadership, while commending the cooperation among security institutions in URR in supporting his administration.
He assured the delegation of his leadershipโs continued support to security services to further enhance operations.
The Governor also raised concerns about the current status of ID Card production, citing the numerous constraints it imposes on residents of URR. He urged DG Mboob and his team to foster more engagement with relevant authorities to improve the operational capacity of ID Card production.
In response, DG Mboob commended the URR administration for its consistent collaboration with Service Chiefs in promoting national security and community development.
He acknowledged the challenges currently affecting ID Card production and assured that his administration is working closely with stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of commitment to national duty.
