The Gambia Police Force launched “Operation Fight Kush” on February 27 to combat drug-related crimes in the Greater Banjul Area.
Since its inception, this operation has led to the arrest of over two dozen individuals in various locations within KM and beyond, resulting in remarkable outcomes.
These arrests were made in connection with possession of suspected controlled substances such as Tramadol pills, “Kush,” and suspected stolen smartphones, reportedly taken from ST’s musical concert, among other items.
Individuals found in possession of suspected drugs have been promptly handed over to The Drug Law Enforcement Agency (DLEAG) for further processing.
The Gambia Police Force remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens.
