His Excellency President Adama Barrow’s daylong inspection of ongoing road projects in Bijilo, Sohm, Jambur, Jiboroh, Sanyang and other urban settlements reaffirmed his government’s commitment to economic growth and poverty reduction.
President Barrow said the infrastructural projects including health facilities and electricity expansion are part of the government’s roadmap of transforming The Gambia into a middle-income county by 2031.
The President’s visit underscored the importance of these roads in facilitating trade, generating employment opportunities, and improving access to essential services.
These crucial projects will further improve the overall quality of life for residents in the beneficiary communities.
