21 years old Ebrima Sanneh a Gambian residing at Wassadu and Ablie Mbya a Senegalese residing at Madina Manda were both arrested at Jonkell Village on the 28th January 2026 at around 18:30 hours GMT onwards with (179) bundles of suspected cannabis sativa concealed in cement paper and inside 12 separate white and blue coloured empty rice bags.
43 years old Musa Ka a Senegalese was arrested at Jonkell Village was arrested on the 28th January 2026 at around 18:30 hours GMT onwards with (105) bundles of suspected cannabis sativa concealed in brown paper and inside 9 separate white and blue coloured empty rice bags.
60 years Naijar Safeiwe a resident of Bakoteh was arrested on the 27th January 2026 at around 13:55 hours GMT onwards with (2) wraps of suspected cannabis sativa concealed in white and foil paper and inside a shea butter plastic bottle.
31 years Alieu Susso a resident of Bako Kunku was arrested on the 27th January 2026 at around 18:25 hours GMT onwards with (51) wraps of suspected cannabis sativa and (3) pieces of suspected cannabis ruderalis (skunk) concealed in white and foil paper and placed inside a transparent and multi coloured plastic bag.
37 years old Haji Camara and 33 years old Omo Touray both residents of Gunjur were arrested on the 27th January at around 20:15 hours onwards with (8) parcels and (28) wraps of suspected cannabis sativa concealed in white paper and inside a multi coloured bag.
19 years old Sainey Janneh a resident of Gunjur was arrested on the 27th January 2025 at around 20:00 hours GMT onwards with (14) wraps of suspected cannabis sativa and (63) wraps of suspected kush concealed in white paper, cigarette packet and inside a transparent plastic bag respectively.
25 years old Lamin Jammeh a resident of Busumbala was arrested on the 28th January 2026 at around 13:30 hours GMT onwards with (8) wraps of suspected cannabis sativa, (63) wraps of suspected kush and (8) pills of ecstasy concealed in white paper and inside a transparent plastic bag.
19 years old Sankung Jatta a resident of Bakau was arrested on the 28th January 2026 at around 16:30 hours GMT onwards with (19) wraps of suspected cannabis sativa concealed in white paper and inside a transparent plastic bag.
24 years old Musa Touray and 29 years old Modou S. Jallow both residents of Bakau were arrested on the 28th January 2026 at around 16:30 hours GMT onwards with (34) wraps and some quantities of suspected cannabis sativa concealed in white and cement papers.
20 years old Muhammed Sankareh a resident of Busumbala was arrested on the 28th January 2026 at around 17:20 hours GMT onwards with (26) wraps of suspected cannabis sativa concealed in white paper and inside a multi coloured bag.
19 years old Njogou Saine a resident of Jabang was arrested on the 28th January 2026 at around 20:00 hours GMT onwards with (8) wraps of suspected cannabis sativa concealed in white paper and inside an ash-coloured small bag.
20 years old Dawda Ceesay a resident of Banjul was arrested on the 29th January 2026 at around 15:00 hours GMT onwards with (30) wraps of suspected kush concealed in white paper and inside a transparent medical plastic bag.
28 years old Pa Sulay Sillah a resident of Banjul was arrested on the 29th January 2026 at around 15:30 hours GMT onwards with (24) pieces of suspected cannabis resin (hashish) concealed in transparent plastic bags.
25 years old Muhammed Bittaye a resident of Bansang was arrested on the 29th January 2026 at around 22:00 hours GMT onwards with (37) small bags of suspected cannabis ruderalis (skunk) concealed in transparent plastic bag and inside a red coloured flash cup respectively.
All the suspects are currently in custody while further investigations into their respective matters continue.
