The Chinese Embassy in The Gambia has awarded scholarships to forty students of the University of The Gambia as part of its Ambassador Scholarship Award Scheme aimed at supporting academic excellence.
The award ceremony was hosted by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Herbert Robinson, and attended by the Chinese Ambassador to The Gambia, H.E. Liu Jin.
Now in its fifth year, the scholarship scheme continues to provide financial support to students at the countryโs highest institution of learning, helping to expand access to higher education.
